Job description

Under the supervision of the Project Control Director, the job consists in performing all cost management tasks to support the execution of the project. The incumbent will also perform various administrative and operational support tasks. The main job location is in Longueuil, but visits to the Terrebonne office and to the construction site located in Becancour are required.

The incumbent’s responsibilities will be to :

  • Compiling project cost estimates and establishing control budgets
  • Updating the trend log and preparing change requests
  • Assigning specific cost accounts to expenses incurred by the project team
  • In collaboration with the accounting team, calculating and reporting costs incurred for works in progress
  • Preparing cash flow reports
  • Measuring and compiling progress of construction projects
  • Preparing automated project costs reports as per established standards and criteria
  • Preparing detailed budget tracking reports and predicting completion costs in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Writing project progress reports and performing follow-ups as required to obtain missing information from project team members
  • Participating in various administrative tasks, such as: scheduling meetings, reviewing documents, etc.
  • Performing any other related task


  • University diploma in engineering, accounting or any other relevant field
  • 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position
  • Experience working on major construction projects
  • Excellent ability to plan, organize and execute tasks while maintaining a high level of quality
  • Ability to work efficiently, proactively and to meet tight deadlines
  • Experience working with databases and high volumes of data
  • Experience with PRISM G2 and Guide TI, an asset
  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English
  • Good knowledge of the Office suite (Outlook, Word and Excel).
