Role Description:

Under the supervision of the R & D Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for: 

• Assist researchers in R&D projects;
• Independently lead small R&D projects;
• Perform experiments, analyses, samples, and preparations according to established protocols or test plans;
• Adaptation of experimental devices, installation of equipment, monitoring and conducting laboratory experiments;
• Maintain a laboratory notebook;
• Data collection, reporting of results and observations, interpretation and presentation of results;
• Maintenance and interventions on tools and equipment used;
• Monitor technical developments in the field and make suggestions for improvements and adaptations;
• Perform literature search, test protocol preparation, study and report preparation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in chemistry or related discipline
• College degree, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in chemistry or related discipline.
•  Good written knowledge of French and English
